The kick-off event for the Families 4 Everson Elementary — known as F4EE — welcomes parents and students of Everson Elementary School for a movie night for the students and planning meeting for the parents.
F4EE serves as the school’s parent-teacher organization. The goal of the group centers around enriching the lives of students by helping to plan activities that may not otherwise be provided by the school or the district.
The event on Friday, Sept. 28, will serve to let any family members related to one of the students volunteer, plan and brainstorm events for this school year. While the parents meet, students will enjoy a supervised movie.
Anne Isenhart, F4EE spokesperson, says the meeting should help the group plan for future movie nights, the school’s second-ever craft show and fundraisers designed to beautify and enrich the school.
“We also hope to meet parents and family members who are new to our school,” she says.
The event takes place at Everson Elementary School, with doors opening at 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 28. The movie starts at 6:15 p.m. and the meeting at 6:30 p.m.
