    Welcome to Nooksack Valley Middle School!!

     

    NVMS Fundraiser Kickoff!!!  Kids have received their packets. Please sign and return  Parent Permission slips. Please complete and turn in on Tuesday, September 25th, 2018. Students will need to have the correct amount of cash (no change is given).

    Supply List

    Nooksack Valley Middle School

    1.  Book Bag / Backpack
     
    Basic school supplies will be provided by the Nooksack Valley School District which includes:
    • Spiral notebooks for each class.
    • Composition books for each class.
    • Pens, pencils, colored pencils, markers & highlighters, pencil pouch, 3x5 note cards.
    • Graph paper.
    • Scissors.
    • Glue sticks.
    All other tools and accessories should be available to students throughout the year.

  • Washington State 2018 Healthy Youth Survey (Click Here)

    Our district is participating in the Washington State 2018 Healthy Youth Survey during fall 2018. The Healthy Youth survey includes questions related to physical activity and diet, unintentional and intentional injury, substance use, risk and protective factors, access to school-based services, and sexual behaviors, abuse and orientation. Survey results are used by schools, communities and state agencies to plan programs to support our youth and reduce their risks. Participation in the survey is voluntary and the students’ answers are anonymous. Please read the Parent and Student Notification Letter for more information about the Healthy Youth Survey.

  • Head Lice Information

    FROM THE NURSE: Please make a practice of checking your student’s hair for head lice and nits. This time of year, we see an increase in the number of cases and need your help in preventing the spread. The most effective screening occurs when parents check their children at home, treat if any are found, and make efforts to remove the nits. Please remind your student not to share hats with their friends. If you have any questions regarding head lice, please contact Lynnette Ondeck @360-966-7561, ext 3117.
